Within 30 days after the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, the City Clerk shall cause a notice to be mailed to all registered voters informing the voters of the change in the election date, and that as a result of the change in the election date, elected City officers’ terms in office will be extended and no term shall be decreased.
