Nothing herein contained shall prohibit the right of any person, firm, or corporation to load or unload any goods, wares, or merchandise in front of the place of business of such business, firm, or corporation, and leave such goods, wares, and merchandise upon said sidewalk or curb for such length of time as is reasonably necessary for the purpose of loading or unloading the same.
