15.110.130 Mitigation requirement.
New development, out-of-service-area agreements, and annexation of residential dwelling units shall be required to retrofit high-flow fixtures in existing occupancies, or pay an in-lieu fee established by resolution of the City Council as follows:
A. For each single-family dwelling unit, 4.8 toilets, and 4.8 showerheads in existing occupancies within the City limits shall be retrofitted with low-water use fixtures consistent with the requirements of this chapter, or pay an in-lieu fee established for this purpose by resolution of the City Council. Fractional numbers shall be rounded to the nearest whole number.
B. For each multifamily dwelling unit, 2.4 toilets and 2.4 showerheads in existing occupancies within the City limits shall be retrofitted with low-water use fixtures consistent with the requirements of this chapter or pay an in-lieu fee established for this purpose by resolution of the City Council. Fractional numbers shall be rounded to the nearest whole number.
C. Ordinance 992 is hereby rescinded. (Ord. 1080 § A, 2015)
