The ordinance codified in this chapter shall take effect and be in force 30 days from and after the date of its passage; provided, that a copy of the ordinance has first been filed with the California Department of Housing and Community Development in accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 17959(b)(2). The City Clerk of the City of Sebastopol shall cause the ordinance codified in this chapter to be posted in at least three public places in the City of Sebastopol in accordance with Section 36933 of the Government Code of the State of California.
