It shall be unlawful for the parent, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of a minor under the age of 18 years to knowingly permit such minor to violate any of the provisions of SMC 8.48.010 through 8.48.030. Each violation of the provisions of this section shall constitute a separate offense.

Any minor violating the provisions of this chapter may be immediately apprehended and lawfully detained and appropriate proceedings may be instituted under and pursuant to the provisions of the Welfare and Institutions Code of the State of California and other applicable laws.
